Who we are

TruBond makes and sells tile adhesives through a chain of dealers and retailers. This website and our ordering system let admins, dealers, retailers and customers place orders, track dispatches and view balances.

In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean TruBond. "You" means anyone who visits our website, contacts us, or uses an account on our system.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the service.

• Account details: your name, email address, phone number, business name, address and role (admin, dealer, retailer or customer).
• Order and payment records: orders, invoices, dispatches, dues and payments made through your account. We do not store card numbers on our servers.
• Messages you send us: what you send us by email or WhatsApp, and our replies.
• Technical data: your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and the time of each visit, recorded in our server logs.

How we use it

• To create and manage your account, and to let you log in.
• To process orders, arrange dispatches, and keep accurate balances and invoices.
• To reply to your questions and give support.
• To send service messages, such as order updates and password resets.
• To keep the system secure, prevent fraud and fix problems.
• To meet our legal, tax and accounting duties.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We share information only when it is needed to deliver the service:

• Within the distribution chain: a dealer or retailer can see the order and contact details needed to fulfil your order, and nothing more.
• Service providers: companies that host our website, send our emails or SMS messages, or process payments for us. They may use your data only to provide that service.
• Authorities: when the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

Cookies and similar tools

We use a small number of cookies. A session cookie keeps you logged in and protects forms from forgery. If you tick "Keep me signed in on this device", we also set a longer-lasting cookie so you stay logged in. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but you will not be able to log in without them.

How long we keep it

We keep account information while your account is active. Order, invoice and payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require. Messages you send us are kept for as long as needed to answer you and handle any follow-up. After that, we delete the data or remove anything that identifies you.

How we protect it

Passwords are stored in hashed form, never as plain text. Access to data is limited by role, so each person sees only what their role needs. We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and keep our software updated. No system is completely secure, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us at once if you think your account was misused.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

• Show you the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct information that is wrong or out of date.
• Delete your information, where we are not required to keep it by law.
• Stop sending you non-essential messages.

To make a request, contact us. We may need to confirm who you are before we act on it.

Children

Our website and system are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us their information, tell us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will also tell account holders by email or in the dashboard.
